18CB-3 COLT SAA #229470Colt Single Action Army revolver in .32-20 caliber with a 6” barrel, 1 piece wood grips, S/N 229470. The 6” barrel and grips are not recorded in the factory record but we and several Colt experts feel this to be acorrect and rare 6” barrel. The crown and sight placement are spot on and sight shows original blue. The revolver shows 30%-50% blue within a dark and brown patina. Minor erosion and light pitting. Very good markings and very good grips. The action is good and the bore is fair. The barrel is numbered 470 on the bottom under the ejector rod with star stamp possibly indicating special order or return to the factory.
