Marlin Model 1888 lever action rifle, .38 WCF caliber, Serial #20822. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 28” octagon barrel with a dovetailed brass front and standard rear sights. The extra-long 28” Lot Title barrel and full-length magazine have gone to dark brown patina with numerous small mars and scratches from carry and use. The receiver is likewise a plum brown patina with light surface rust. The smooth wood stocks Lot Title show moderate to heavy wear with numerous mars and bruises. Additionally, there are couple extra holes on the underside of the butt from an old sling swivel and a hole on the right side at the wrist. The butt ends Lot Title with a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is rough with pitting and wear evident, the action functions and the markings are legible on this desirable early Marlin Model 1888. Est.: $900-$1,800. Lot Title (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
