Whitney lever action rifle, .44 caliber, Serial #1458. The rifle is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with a 24” octagon barrel with replacement front and rear sights. The barrel and full-length Lot Title magazine retain the majority of their muted blue finish with the remainder going to a plum patina. The receiver shows significant flaking blue with the remainder going to plum patina. The hammer and trigger show old Lot Title toning case hardening and the patent date is clearly visible on the tang. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing moderate wear with small mars and compressions consistent with carry and use. The butt ends Lot Title with a smooth steel crescent butt plate with trap. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
