German Oberndorf Model 98 bolt action rifle, 8mm caliber, Serial #46971. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” import marked barrel with a ramped blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The Lot Title metal surfaces retain the majority of their blue finish with light to moderate surface rust and erosion noted. The front ring is marked, “byf” with Nazi proofs and is dated 1943. The smooth wood stock is in rough Lot Title condition having seen considerable use with significant dents and bruising. The butt stock ends with a smooth, steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action crisp and markings are legible. Est.: $150-$300. Lot Title (C+R).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
