Winchester Model 1876 deluxe rifle in .45-60 caliber with a 28” octagon barrel, full mag, rifle butt, set trigger, checkered deluxe walnut stock, blue and casehardened finish, received in warehouse Sept. 9, 1882 shipped Lot Title Oct 9, 1882 with four other arms to order #27440. This rifle was purchased by the Kimball family who owned the 1st pharmacy in Riverside, California. It was sold to Frank Wright in the 1950’s who was also a Lot Title pharmacist in Riverside along with loading tools and ammo purchased in the 19th century to hunt bear in nearby mountains. This rifle has been in only two collections since new. The rifle retains 50%-70% original blue on Lot Title the barrel and magazine tube drifting to patina with minor pitting and erosion just starting. Good barrel address and sharp markings. Express rear sight and beech front (Gold plated). The frame shows 50%-60% case Lot Title colors naturally aging and drifting to silvery gray with some rainbows showing at the edges and in patina.
