Triplett & Scott Repeating Carbine, .50 caliber, Serial #4243. The carbine is in fair overall condition with a 30” round barrel. The barrel and receiver have gone to a brown patina with light to moderate Lot Title surface erosion evident. The receiver is marked, “MERIDEN MANFG. CO.” and “KENTUCKY” on the opposite side. The smooth wood stock has suffered a severe brake at the wrist due to the odd positioning of the magazine tube. Lot Title Estimated production of the Triplett & Scott number approximately 5,000 with 3,000 being in the 30” barrel length. Issued to Kentucky Home Guard troops in 1865, whose responsibility it was to guard Sherman’s Lot Title supply route during the Atlanta campaign. (Antique). Est.: $150-$300.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
