Scarce Smith & Wesson 38 New Departure First Model top break DA revolver, .38 S&W caliber, 5” barrel, grey patina, checkered hard rubber grips, S/N 4611; overall fair to good condition with good markings, fair bore, action working but trigger return spring is not; dark patina with some scattered pinprick pitting and areas of light erosion; grips are worn and show old repairs to bottoms near butt strap; a difficult variation to find in any condition given only about 5,125 were made with the early “Z-Bar” barrel latch in the year 1887. (Antique). Est.: $200-$400.

Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance.
