DWM Model 1895 OVS Mauser bolt action rifle, 7 x 57mm caliber, 29” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, S/N OVS8340 (all matching visible numbers including cleaning rod!), overall very good condition, no import marks, verygood + bore, crisp action, sharp markings and overall very good wood. Note from consignor states in part “. . . . manufactured for a country that no longer exists – The Orange Free State. This was intended for useagainst the British in the Boer Wars, but the ship carrying it was intercepted by a British blockade and the rifle were sent back to Germany. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
