Carl Gustaf Model 1896 Swedish Mauser bolt action rifle, 6.5 x 55mm caliber, import marked, 29” barrel, top of receiver dated 1917, blued finish, maple wood stock, S/N 403059, in overall very good condition with a very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings, matching visible numbers, very good stock; consignor note states “This is the only maple stock I’ve ever come across. For the years of 1915, 1916, 1917, there was ashortage of walnut, so they started trying using different woods. This rifle has a Dept. of Agriculture letter confirming the stock is maple”. (C&R). Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
