Early and rare Scottish heart butt flintlock belt pistol with silver inlay originally circa about 1670-1700. The pistol measures 13 7/8” overall with a 9 ¾” barrel of .56 caliber smoothbore. The barrel and stockshows generous early style silver inlays. The original fancy belt hook and ball trigger are retained. Correct style rammer with fancy metal work. The lock, hammer and frizzen are of later period and in our opinion replacedin the pistols working life. These parts show aging and hand crafting but not as early as this stock. The stock shows age and distress but good overall. (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
