Exhibition quality 1873 Winchester rifle customized by London Guns of Santa Monica and engraved and gold inlaid by Angelo Bee. London guns was the west side of L.A.’s most exclusive gun shop circa 1970s to 80’s. Owned by Phil Brown and Jules was his top workman who stocked and finished this master work. The rifle shows a 24” octagon barrel in .44-40 caliber, full mag, and crescent butt. This Winchester shows superb burl walnutstock that is finely checkered. Mounted with express type folding rear sight, venier tang sight and Rocky Mountain style blade front sight. High grade European style sling swivels. This show piece is masterfullyscroll engraved and multi-color gold inlaid with eagles on both side plates. This work is signed by Angelo Bee former European Master Engraver for Browning. The rifle has been fully reconditioned and restored with aEuropean grade blue finish and case hardened small parts. The condition is excellent as restored. Est.: (Antique) Est.: $5,000-$10,000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
