Heavy barrel half stock plains type percussion rifle, single trigger, .45 caliber, 35.5” octagon barrel marked “W. P. Marston/Maker/Toronto C.W.”; lock plate marked J. Tarratt & Sons, checkered wood stock, brass mounts and patchbox; overall good condition with a good action, nice patina to brass, single key barrel retainer, wood ramrod; old break to lower rear corner of butt stock which is held tight with bottom of butt plate.
