Flintlock musketoon of dragoon or cavalry style with sling swivel on long bar, attached ramrod, and lock marked “Porto 1802” with center of lock engraved with crown and initials (J.P.R.?) intertwined. Closely resembles British arms of Napoleonic era and we believe to be Portuguese. Measures 35” overall with a 20” barrel of .62 plus caliber smoothbore. The metal is good to very good with light minor aging and good markings. Correct flintlock parts. The stock is very good with light coating of clear varnish or shellac but no sanding. This must be a rare example as we have not viewed another in 50 years of selling antique arms. (Antique) Est.: $750-$1500

Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
