Colt Model of 1911 US Army semi-automatic pistol, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #531117. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 5” barrel. The pistol retains the majority of its military finish with the frame stamped, “AA” for August Arsenal. The checkered wood grips are in good condition showing moderate wear with some flattening of the checkering. The lot includes one correct, Colt marked two-tone magazine. The bore is very good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this arsenal re-worked WWII vintage Colt. Est.: $800-$1,600. (C+R).
