Smith and Wesson Victory Model revolver, .38 Special caliber, Serial #V226608. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 4” barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with wear at the muzzle and a drag line on the cylinder. The top strap is marked, “U.S. NAVY”. The smooth wood grips are in very good condition with small mars and a lanyard ring in the butt. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this WWII era pistol. The lot includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter indicating the pistol was shipped on January 29, 1943 and delivered to the U.S. Navy Springfield Armory, Springfield, MA. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
