Model 1891 Argentine Mauser bolt action carbine, 8mm caliber, Serial #A9606. The carbine is in nearly fine overall condition with an 18” barrel with a protected blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The metal surfaces retain a significant amount of their original thinning blue finish with losses at the muzzle. The receiver is marked, ‘LOEWE BERLIN”, the front ring features the Argentine crest and all visible serial numbers are matching including the stock. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with a metal recoil pin at the wrist. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable Argentine Mauser. Est.: $500-$1,000. (Antique).
