Cimarron Billy Dixon Model single shot rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #SH7542. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 30” octagon barrel with a globe front and standard style rear sights. The barrel retains nearly all of its high gloss blue finish with sharp edges and small mars. The receiver is beautifully case hardened as are the tang and trigger guard. A tang sight has been added during the period of use. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition with only light handling marks and a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is very good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable reproduction of Billy Dixon’s rifle. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Modern).
