Swedish Model 96 Mauser bolt action rifle by Carl Gustafs, 6.5 x 55 caliber, Serial #HK472843. The rifle is in very good overall condition with 29” import marked barrel with a ramped blade front and military tangent style rear sights, with the cleaning rod retained. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with bright niter blue visible under the tangent sight and matching visible serial numbers. The front ring is marked Carl Gustafs, features the Swedish crest and is dated 1919. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with small mars and compressions. The brass gauge disc is intact on the right side of the butt stock which ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this post-WWI Swedish Mauser. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
