Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, .40-65 WCF caliber, Serial #45880. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 26” octagon barrel with full-length magazine. The barrel and magazine have gone to a uniform grey/brown patina with sharp edges and areas of light surface erosion. The receiver is a toning silver patina with old case hardening evident in the hammer and lever. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with small mars, compressions and a notch cut out of the comb to accommodate a tang sight. The butt stock ends with a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action crisp and markings are legible on this desirable Model 1886 circa 1890. Est.: $1,250-$2,500. (Antique).

Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
