S/42 Luger semi-automatic pistol, 9mm caliber, Serial #2029. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 4” barrel. The pistol retains nearly all of its blue finish with light wear at the muzzle and areas of high point edge wear. The top of the toggle is marked, “S/42” with additional German proofs noted. The pistol features all matching visible serial numbers, other than the magazine. The front ring is dated 1937 in front of the chamber. The checkered wood grips are in good condition with mars and some flattening of the checkering. The pistol includes one correct magazine with an aluminum base and a non-matching serial #3608. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable S/42 Luger. Est.: $900-$1,800. (C+R).
