Marlin Model 1889 lever action rifle, .38-40 caliber, 24” octagon barrel, blued finish, wood stocks, S/N 42964; overall good to very good condition with majority of original blued finish on barrel, balance of metal surfaces gone to a grey and brown patina; very good bore, crisp action and markings, stocks are good with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage plus a small old loss to the right side of the butt stock wrist below the hammer.
