Mauser Model 1871 bolt action rifle, approximately 11 mm caliber, Serial #74900. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 33” barrel. The barrel and receiver have gone to a uniform grey patina with some areas of light surface erosion noted. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with small mars and compressions. The rifle retains sling swivels and the cleaning rod is intact. The trigger guard is brass and the butt plate is smooth steel. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible.
