Springfield Model 1898 Krag rifle in .30-40 caliber, S/N 383232. Very good plus original condition with 50%-70% original blue and “quenched” case hardened colors. Sharp 1902 cartouche that is fully visible. The stock is also very good plus with minor marks and dings, “P” proof on the inside of pistol grip. Sharp markings, good bore that is fairly bright with strong rifling just minor aging from use. Woven canvas sling (Philippine era) included. An above average Krag rifle rated at 7.5-8 on a 1-10 scale. Muzzle cover included. (C&R) Est.: $600-$1200
