Miquelet percussion pocket pistol with large bore cannon barrel. Measures 7 ½” overall with a 3 ¼” barrel of .75 caliber smoothbore. Brass mounts in continental rather than Spanish style. Dark patina finish with minor erosion and pinprick pitting. Not holding on full cock but working. Good wood and generally good overall. Made from Spain through Italy into Mediterranean in this style during early 19th century. No absolute identifying characteristics. 50/50 chance on whether Spanish or Italian.
