Tula (Russia) armoury made 1813 dated flintlock military pistol with A1 (Alexander) crest on brass plaque in wrist. Made during Napoleonic war era shortly after the retreat from Moscow. This rare flintlock shows heavily cleaned and restored stock with replace brass fore end cap. The metal surfaces show some cleaning and remanants of pitting and erosion but lock markings are good and proofs on the barrel are visible. Measures 17” overall with a 10” barrel of .70+ smoothbore. Original flintlock parts. A very historic military pistol that is seldom offered for sale on the auction block. Lock works well. (Antique) Est.: $1250-$2500
