Colt New Black Powder Series 1851 Navy 2nd Model percussion revolver, .36 caliber, Serial #27747. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 7½” octagon barrel. The barrel and cylinder retain nearly all of their blue finish with 95% of the cylinder scene visible including the engagement date and a faint drag line. The frame, rammer and hammer are beautifully case hardened and the back strap and square trigger guard are silver tone. The smooth wood grips are in very good condition with only light storage marks. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp. Est.: $450-$850.
