1920 Navy Commercial Naval Luger Carbine, #56, 9mm, 11-3/4'' barrel, blue finish with straw small parts, factory checkered walnut grips, forend, and stock; with one unmarked tin-plated magazine with wooden base, and the other marked ''CAL 9M/M''. All nicely fitted in a modern case by Huey Gun Cases, MO. Unmarked chamber, DWM marked toggle, two-position rear sight, with ramped blade front sight; thumb safety marked ''Gesichert'' in lower position, ''Geladen'' marked extractor; round checkered toggle knob and grip safety, with ''(crown)/N'' proofmarks and ''Germany'' stamped through the finish to forward left edge of receiver. Considered incredibly rare by collectors with only a few known. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98% blue with minor thinning to straw small parts. Crisp checkering throughout, with all matching small parts except stock attaching iron, which is unnumbered. Action is crisp, bore is bright. Case shows only the lightest marks from handling.
