this factory-original smith & wesson presentation gun case rates in very good condition overall. The custom-molded interior foam has been beautifully re-flocked or replaced to prevent the typical vintage degradation often seen with these vintage n-frame housings. The exterior mahogany wood box measures exactly 16 inches long by 7. 75 inches wide and 3 inches high. It features dedicated accessory slots containing an original loop-end aluminum cleaning rod, a brass bore brush, and a factory dual-tone knurled sight screwdriver. The lot comes complete as an opened display housing unit with the original tools and paperwork including the original manual, but it is an inherently non-locking box design that does not utilize keys. Originally manufactured during the 1970s, this elite factory presentation option was engineered specifically to house a classic model 29-2 . 44 magnum revolver configured with an 8-3/8 inch barrel length positioned diagonally inside the compact footprint.
