Framed and autographed to Senator John W. Warner from Secretary of State George Schultz. Photo and handwritten note both reference the signing of 1987's Agreement on Nuclear Risk Reduction. Display also includes the actual pen used by Schultz to sign that particular document. A formal letter from the United States Department of State is attached to the frame's reverse addressing this item's provenance and has been hand signed by Jack D. Segal from the Office of Soviet Union Affairs. This unique, impressive item truly commemorates an important milestone in U.S. history. A great, striking display piece. BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number. All registration cards contain the full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address.
