U.S. Colt Model 1861 percussion Special Musket, dated 1863 on lockplate and 1862 on breech of 40” barrel, .58 caliber, “in the white” finish, wood stock; overall very good to near fine condition with N.J. (New Jersey) stampings on left side of barrel at breech and on the left side of the stock above the trigger guard; crisp action, very good bore, sharp markings and near fine stock. (Antique).
