US Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 bolt action rifle, .30 caliber, Serial #68446. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 24” barrel marked, SA with the flaming bomb emblem and dated “05”. The metal surfaces are a dark brown with light to moderate surface rust throughout. The smooth wood is in fair condition with a 6” lateral crack along the right side of the action. The stock has multiple cartouches at the rear of the action and a Circle P behind the trigger guard. The stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate with moderate to heavy surface rust. The rifle has had lead poured into the breach and is non-firing in its current condition. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).
