Heavy barrel half stocked percussion target rifle marked “N. Lewis Troy” (N.Y.) and “Warren Albany” on the lock. Measures 46” overall with a 30” octagon barrel of approximately .38 caliber rifled measuring 1.2” across the center of barrel. German silver mounts with incised scroll lines around cheekpiece. Double set triggers. Fancy handmade target type tang sight and hooded front sight. Trigger must be set to cock and working action. Good to very good overall condition and would clean nicely as in storage for decades. Dr. Cairns collection with copy of 1952 newspaper article on this collection. (Antique) Est.: $600-$1200
