Remington Model 24 takedown semi-automatic rifle, .22 caliber, Serial #82703. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 19” barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their muted blue finish with loss of finish at the muzzle and areas of light surface erosion. A period Lyman aperture sight has been added during the period of use. The smooth wood stock is in good overall condition with mars and compressions consistent with field use. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).
