L. Pomeroy converted single shot percussion rifle, .70 caliber, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 42” round barrel. The barrel is an overall grey patina with light surface rust, missing the front barrel bands and marked US, dated 1844 at the breech. The receiver has also gone to patina dated 1841 and marked, “US”. The smooth wood stock is broken at the action and features multiple cartouches ending with a steel butt plate. Est.: $200-$400. (Antique).
