A good 19th century Russian kinjal with unusual Bowie type blade with three fullers. Deeply struck maker’s mark and blade appears to be watered steel. Dark horn grip with delicate silver mounts. 16 inch blade and 21 and ½ inches overall. A very serious weapon made for business and nothing like the decorative pieces one usually encounters. No scabbard. Est: 350-500.
