US M1 carbine by Winchester, .30 caliber, Serial #6502100. The carbine is in very good overall condition with a Winchester marked barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with wear at the muzzle and handling marks. The rear aperture sight is a later example and the trigger housing is by Inland. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with sharp cartouches of crossed cannons on the right side and “Y” behind the trigger guard. The canvas sling and oiler are retained and the butt ends with a textured steel butt plate. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this WWII era Winchester carbine. The lot does not include a magazine. Est.: $700-$1,400. (C+R).
