US M1 carbine by Inland, .30 caliber, Serial #825062. The carbine is in very good overall condition with an Inland marked barrel dated 11-43. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with high point edge wear and the correct style flat bolt. The rear sight is a battlefield replacement. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with great burl figure and sharp cartouches of crossed cannons on the right side and “P” behind the trigger guard. The canvas sling and oiler are retained and the butt ends with a textured steel butt plate. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this WWII era carbine. The lot includes one correct magazine. Est.: $600-$1,200. (C+R).
