Janssen & Sons S x S hammer shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The shotgun is in fair overall condition with 18” Damascus steel barrels and a full-length filed rib. The barrels were shortened during the period of use and have gone to a grey patina. The receiver is also a grey patina with old, silvered case hardening evident. The firing pins have been removed, but the barrels appear to be tight and on face. The checkered wood stocks feature a splinter fore end and end with a steel butt plate providing a 14” LOP to the front trigger. The bores are fair, the action functions and markings are legible.
