US Model 1903 bolt action sporting rifle by Springfield Armory, .30-06 caliber, Serial #178132. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” barrel marked, SA and dated 12-36 with the flaming bomb emblem. The metal surfaces retain the majority of an old, quality re-blue. The front sight is a ramped blade with the rear removed. The action is missing parts, including the bolt stop and should be inspected by a competent gunsmith. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition as sporterized, with mars and the front barrel band removed. The butt stock retains the sling swivel and ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap. The bore is fair, the action is non-functioning at this time and the markings are sharp. Est.: $100-$200. (C+R).
