Mauser Model 98 bolt action rifle by BRNO, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #I 3134. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 24” barrel with the front sight removed and rear military style tangent sight retained. The metal surfaces show a significant amount of their military finish with the front ring marked, “Mod 98 dou.45” and “45/14” in front of the ring. The smooth wood stock is in good overall condition showing moderate use with mars and compressions. The butt stock retains sling swivels, a cleaning rod and ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are sharp. Est.: $100-$200. (C+R).
