FN 49 semi-automatic rifle, approximately .30 caliber, Serial #2667. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 23β barrel with a protected blade front, military tangent style rear sights. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish. The front ring is marked, βALβ for Armee Luxembourg. The right side of the receiver features the one line FN address while the left side of the action has the Liege proof and flaming bomb emblem. All visible serial numbers are matching with the exception of the stock. The smooth wood stock is in good overall condition with mars, compressions and a smooth steel butt plate with trap and sling swivels with period leather military style sling. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable FN 49 battle rifle. Est.: $700-$1,400. (C+R).
