Colt U.S. Cavalry SAA revolver, .45 caliber, 7.5” barrel, blued and case hardened finish, R.A.C. inspections, wood grips showing restorations and replacement, S/N 132312; overall very good condition with majority of blued finish remaining and silver toning to frame; very good bore, crisp action and sharp markings; grips show RAC cartouche on right side and SEB/1890 on left side (as restored). Accompanied by a Colt letter indicating .45 caliber, blued finish, barrel length and type of stocks “Not Listed”, delivered to the U.S. Government Inspector located at the Colt plant on April 30, 1890 in a lot of 300 guns (letter also notes under remarks that standard issue during this period would be a 7.5” barrel length and wood stocks).
