Mexican sword with steel scabbard. The sword is 36” in overall length with a 30” etched blade. The blade shows light surface rust but no sharpening with “REPUBLICA MEXICANA” on one side and “FA D TOLEDO” on the other. The blade is stamped, “FW HOLLER SOLINGEN” at the handguard. The ornate handguard depicts the eagle and serpents on the front and the grip/pommel is in the form of an eagle. The wire wrapped bone handle is in good condition. The nickel plated steel scabbard is in good condition with small dents and some light surface erosion. Est.: $150-$300.
