Colt SAA .45 caliber revolver with a 7 ½” barrel, factory “D” engraved, blue case hardened finish, and checkered grips with silver medallions. Engraved by Oscar Flores and supplied with French fitted case. Don Mitchell, Loan Acct., Colt Firearms (Display gun) May 5, 1972, 1 gun in shipment. Factory letter confirms all features under remarks “This arm was engraved in custom scroll by Mr. Flores and submitted to Colt for marketing consideration”. Don Mitchell was Colt marketing manager at this time. Excellent to mint condition with stagecoach box also included. A terrific transition 2nd to 3rd generation used as a factory display gun. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
