Colt Root side hammer Model 1855 #6 variation percussion revolver, .31 caliber, 3.5” barrel, blued finish, wood grips, S/N 10948; overall good to very good condition with scattered areas of original blued finish,majority of cylinder scene remaining, crisp action, very good markings and very good grips; accompanied by a typewritten note that gun was purchased by consignor’s father-in-law, Dr. Robert Dalrymple in June,1964, from noted firearms dealer and expert, Norm Flayderman; also included is original sales receipt from Flayderman to Dr. Dalrymple. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
