Marlin Model 1895 lever action rifle, .45-70 Govt. caliber, Serial #B012140. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 22” barrel with a ramped blade front and folding rear sights. The barrel and half magazine retainthe majority of their muted blue finish. The receiver shows significant blue finish with a 3” section on the left side which has had the finish buffed off. The top of the receiver is matte finished and has beendrilled and tapped for scope mounting. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with small mars and compressions consistent with carry and use. The butt stock ends with a White Line ventilated rubber recoil padproviding a 14” LOP. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $350-$700. (Modern).
