Webley “WG” Army Model 1896 Double Action revolver, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #21318. The pistol is in fine overall condition as re-finished. The pistol retains nearly all of a quality re-finish with a 6” barrel witha full-length solid rib marked, ”ARMY & NAVY C.S.L.” indicating the pistol was retailed by Army/Navy. The frame is marked, “WG ARMY MODEL” above the cylinder, 450/455 under the lug and “WEBLEY PATENTS” at the base. Thepistol has been re-chambered to .45ACP during the period of use. The checkered plastic bird’s head grip is in very good condition with the lanyard ring and cord retained. The bore is good, the action is crisp and themarkings are sharp on this nicely restored Webley. The lot includes a leather top snap belt holster in very good condition. Est.: $600-$1,200. (C+R/PPT).
