Colt 1849 Pocket Model percussion revolver, .31 caliber, Serial #275212. The pistol is in good overall condition with a 4” octagon barrel. The metal surfaces are a uniform grey patina with sharp edges and a crispbarrel address. Faint traces of the cylinder scene remains and the serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, barrel and cylinder are all matching. The Colt patent mark on the left side of the frame is legible. There is a small crack ahead of the trigger guard and knackering along the edge. The wedge is an unmarked, newer replacement and the rammer is unmarked. The smooth wood grips are replacements and the wood is proud at thetoe. The action is not functioning at the time of description. Est.: $400-$800. (Antique).
