Belgian center hammer pocket percussion pistol, .45 caliber, Serial #NSNV. The pistol is in good overall condition with a 2 7/8” octagon barrel. The metal surfaces have gone to grey patina with light surfaceerosion evident. The receiver is nicely engraved and marked with a Liege proof on the left side. The smooth wood grips are in good condition with small mars from carry and use. The base of the pistol grip features a trap with a hinged lid marked like a scallop shell. A nice Belgian marked pistol circa 1850-1860. Est.: $175-$350. (Antique).
