Colt Sauer bolt action sporting rifle, .308 Winchester caliber, Serial #CR24253. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded ramped blade front and folding rear sights. The metal surfacesretain nearly all of their high polish blue finish with only light handling marks noted. The receiver is marked at the right side of the front ring, “Made in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn.” Additionally, there areGerman proof marks at the rear of the action and a desirable tang mounted safety. The finely checkered Walnut stock features fine fit and finish with Rosewood fore end and grip caps. The butt stock has beautifulfigure and ends with a ventilated rubber butt pad providing a 13 ¾” LOP. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this lightly used Colt Sauer. The rifle is topped with Buehler mounts,rings and a Weatherby Premier 3 x 9 variable power rifle scope with clear, crisp optics. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (Modern).
